A 71-year-old woman, Radhika Devi, underwent a partial surgery for spinal tumour due to patient misidentification at BHU trauma centre. She was mistakenly operated on for hip replacement. After further complications and multiple surgeries, she passed away. An investigation is underway into the gross medical negligence.
