A cook in Hyderabad, Naseeruddin Khan, stabbed a student, Sai Praveen, in Yousufguda after discovering the latter's romantic interest in a woman he liked. Khan, angered and rejected by the woman, attacked Praveen during a confrontation. Police have filed an attempt to murder charge against Khan.
