Two individuals died and five others sustained injuries when a large Ganpati idol collapsed during its procession. The idol fell due to an apparent welding issue with its supporting frame, police officials stated. The incident occurred late Saturday night as the procession neared its destination in Bhuleshwar. The deceased included the Ganpati mandal president, Sanket Nevshe. Investigations into the exact circumstances of the accident are currently underway by authorities.
