Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman met financial sector regulators to discuss uniform KYC norms, simplification and digitalization of the KYC process, steps to check unauthorised lending through online apps, and the implementation of a seamless KYC system like the mutual fund industry.

Legal luminaries led by CJI D Y Chandrachud paid tribute to eminent jurist Fali S Nariman for his immense contribution to the judicial system. Former CJI N V Ramana, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, and senior advocate Kapil Sibal also praised Nariman's ethical stature and significance to the legal fraternity.

Critics feel that core issues haven’t received the due attention 

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will take a break from the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra to fulfill his commitment to deliver lectures at the Cambridge University on February 27 and 28.
